Austin Bridges is a freelance copyeditor living in Massachusetts. They write queer science fiction and fantasy across multiple age demographics. As a non-binary and bi person, they’re passionate about showing queer readers that they deserve to see characters like themselves go on exciting adventures and have happy endings.

Austin has a BA in creative writing from Hampshire College in Amherst, Massachusetts. In 2022, they were selected as both a Queeryfest and Queer Kidlit mentee. The first chapter of their YA sci-fi book, PATH OF DAEDALUS, was a Top 9 Finalist in Voyage YA’s 2022 Novel Excerpt Contest.

They love art, painting their nails, anime, video games, and going to as many concerts as possible. They can also talk about the Muppets for hours (Gonzo is their favorite).
